Hi and welcome!

My name is Katharina Puritscher and I’m an artist and illustrator from Munich, Germany.

I would describe my art as delicate and playful, mixed with lots of Parisian vibes.

After living and working in Paris for quite some time, the city permanently influenced and shaped my artistic approach.

I like to romanticize daily life and exaggerate a little, which translates into my paintings.

It’s very liberating to focus on the little things such as a nice bouquet, a beautiful view from a window, or quality time with some coffee, a croissant and a good book.

I am fascinated by the mixture of different mediums, that’s why I mostly combine acrylic paint, watercolors, gouache, ink and crayons.

My art has been featured in magazines and newspapers such as House & Garden, FAZ and Maxi, and shown to an international audience in Paris at the Imparfaite Vintage Fair (2019) and at Passage Doré (2022).
